📈 Threads Hits 350M Monthly Users: Threads is climbing! Meta’s Twitter rival grew by 30M users in Q1 2025, now reaching 350M monthly actives. That’s up from 320M last quarter and signals steady momentum for the X alternative.

🎞️ Instagram Edits Surpasses 7M Downloads: Meta’s new AI-powered video editing app, Instagram Edits, just dropped, and it's already surpassed 7 million downloads in one week, beating CapCut’s original launch. Features like green screen, auto-captions, and high-quality exports are fan favorites. More advanced tools are on the way.

📲 TikTok Tests Messaging-Driven Ads: TikTok is experimenting with ads that lead directly to WhatsApp or Messenger for real-time chats. Great for lead generation, but it’ll need to respect privacy to succeed.

📉 Google Play App Count Plummets: Google Play just lost nearly half its apps this year, shrinking from 3.4M to 1.8M. That’s a 47% decline, likely due to policy enforcement and quality control, but a massive shift for Android users and developers alike.
