Facebook Brings Back the "Friends" Tab 👥
Meta is taking Facebook back to its roots! CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced a new "Friends" tab, letting users see only posts from friends, no recommended content. It’s part of an effort to revive features from Facebook’s early days and bring users back to the platform.

Instagram Removes Text Notes from Feed Posts & Reels 📝

Instagram is ditching the option to add text notes to feed posts and Reels. While notes have been popular in DMs, the expansion to posts and Reels didn’t gain the same traction. The move is part of Instagram’s effort to streamline the app and avoid feature overload.

Trump Ties TikTok Sale to China Tariffs 🇨🇳
Former President Trump has signaled a willingness to ease tariffs on Chinese goods. if Beijing agrees to sell TikTok. With an April 5 deadline looming for ByteDance to divest its U.S. operations, negotiations are heating up. Oracle and other investors are still in the mix, but China’s approval is key.

YouTube Shorts View Count Gets an Update 🎥
YouTube is changing how it counts Shorts views! Now, a view is registered every time a Short starts playing or replays, rather than after a set number of seconds. Expect to see higher view counts as a result!
